The mighty Subsistenz are proud to present the huge new release from Machine Code. The Berlin-based duo, made up of Current Value and Dean Rodell, roll up with the simply massive Airlock.

The producers bring their magic to four tracks for Subsistenz, which, since 2006 has provided some of the best neuro and tech inspired drum & bass the world has seen. The artists add their passion and experience to the title track, as well as three other stormers, showing off their two decades’ worth of knowledge and know-how. With elements of dubstep and techno as well as d&b, you better get prepared for Airlock.

The title cut sets the stage perfectly, building ominously, with sparkling top notes and an alluring synth line which heads straight for the brain. The main section is something to behold, with pulsing beats and more than enough attitude. You won’t want to miss this one, that’s for sure. Machine Code are exactly on point at the Airlock. Following this is more space age vibes on Forward Gravity, which increases the pace, taking things up to the next level. Turn this one up loud for banging basslines and world-smashing beats. Set phasers to stun as Machine Code jump into hyperspace.

Inhabitant opens things up a little, with a sliding, cinematic opening showing that the guys can do melody as well, before things get back to the usual craziness. Sharp, metallic tones sit on top of a funky, headnodding beat and slices of old skool in the samples. Something for everyone on Inhabitant, truly a highlight for artist and label alike.

Finally, Nowhere finds us deep into the mindset of Machine Code, with descending beats dripping from the main synths. The pace rises once again, as the cyborgs take over and transport us from this universe into the next. Stunning, alarming, and damn near perfect.

A sensational new release from Machine Code, we’re sure you’ll get sucked into the Airlock!
